USS Saturn

Welcome to the USS Saturn!

The year is 2399. The Beta Quadrant remains in chaos following the destruction of Romulus twelve years earlier. Warlords, renegades, and criminals control swaths of territory. Vigilantes work to maintain the peace.

Rimward, the Klingon Empire remains mostly stable. The Sovereignty of Kahless, which had threatened war with the Federation a mere decade earlier, has been defeated. However, nature abhors a vacuum, and the renegade House Mo'Kai has begun to rebel against the Klingon Empire. Though some are concerned it will spill out into Federation territory, the Empire has assured everyone that this is a minor issue, to be managed internally out of Qo’noS. Or so the High Council would prefer we believe.

The USS Saturn is the flagship of Commodore Juliet St. Clair, Executive Officer of Task Force 93. Respected by certain parts of the High Council, Juliet aims to preserve the peace between the Federation and the Klingon Empire, encourage the Empire to prevent the insurgency of the Sovereignty of Kahless from affecting Federation worlds, and stop anyone within the Empire from destabilizing a still-weakened Romulan Free State.

The Saturn mostly operates near Klingon space. It is linked with Starbase 86, an Aurora-class facility just built near the former location of Xavier Fleet Yards.

Cardassian Border

The USS Tucker NCC-81600 traveled at low warp through Federation space. Power output was reduced and the ship’s radiation sink was operating. Emissions were virtually nil. In the incredibly unlikely event that an enemy ship spotted them, they were merely a Starfleet frigate traveling from Deep Space Nine…
